The current situation and macroeconomic prospects of Ecuador

We are grateful to Juan Francisco Rumbea MSc., a university professor and economic consultant, who gave an outstanding lecture to the members of the Young Entrepreneur School Club about the current Ecuadorian conjuncture as well as its macroeconomic perspectives.

Mr. Rumbea is the recipient of several degrees such as a Ph.D. degree from Navarra University, an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business, and a Masters’s degree from the Chilean Catholic University.

Currently, Juan Francisco Rumbea is a professor at the Escuela Superior Politecnica del Litoral (ESPOL) as well as president and co-founder of Works and Infrastructure (INSTUGO SA.). In addition, Mr. Rumbea served as Vice Minister of Industries of Ecuador and as a consultant for United Nations Conference on Trade and Development and for the Inter-American Development Bank
