From January 25 to 28, twelve members of our Torremar Model United Nations Club participated in the ILMUNC XL, organized by the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. The model UN hosted more than 2,300 students representing 197 schools from all over the world. Our delegates’ skills were evident as they tirelessly negotiated their proposals included in the resolutions passed in their committees. Juan Martin Massuh Febres-Cordero and Leonardo Carrión González-Rubio were awarded a VERBAL COMMENDATION for their outstanding participation in the DISEC Committee. We are so proud of our delegates’ commitment, hard work, and dedication to this endeavor.
